Six in the morning

6am, the lake is getting tickled by the rain. Abby and BJ (my Aussie and Border Collie) are still sleeping and the coffee is pouring. Somehow, the places I have played and continue to play worship music is on my heart. - Churches services (all denominations) - Private homes (house church) - Manors - Store front street churches - Parks (Fellowship Gatherings) - Places of Signs and Wonders - Steak House (Market Place ministries) - Chinese Buffet restaurant (Market Place Ministries) - Sound Checks (open mic) - Funerals - Men's retreats - Truck stop (Church and Ministry Leaderships) When all this started for me, I remember thinking to myself "I just can't wait to play ion front of big crowds" That was what I wanted but not what God had planned for me. God has directed me exactly where He wanted me to be with His people He needed to touch. "So I, O I, I will exalt Your name again Most High every way I can." Soul's Desire by Robin Mark.

Forget the details its hot and I like it!

Hi everyone,
Just a quick note to say how I'm looking forward in connecting with many of you at HCB. This new social media thing is fairly new to me.

I love my alone time with God, so many nights when the world is sleeping I take my guitar and will play my favourite songs and hymns for Him. It is my way of praying. Then I sleep like a baby and let Him whisper to me.

Again I hope to hear a lot for many of you.

May you hear His whispers tonight,

Good night

And some say " I Wonder if this is for real?"

Hi All,
This summer I have been privilege and blessed to have partake in this amazing Outpouring in the Valley, Specifically in Kinburn. I remember the first time I drove to Kinburn, not really knowing where it was.
Getting closer and closer to Kinburn, less and less population was there. Oh! fields of corn...yes that, there was a lot off. As I got close to the Church, I could not believe what I was seeing...CARS and lots of them. Yes this was at the start of the summer and yes God was at work in this small town of Kinburn. The Spirit was definitely present.

A friend just sent me the following info on the Revival Tent Gathering that is going on as I write this. Yet some will read this and still ask...:I Wonder if this is for real?"

This week in the Ottawa Valley:

REVIVAL TENT MEETINGS AT LOGOS LAND RESORT

ALSO REPENTANCE WATER BAPTISM 100 TO 300 PM, BBQ 400 TO 500 PM WITH HEALING

FRIDAY BILL PRANKARD HEALING EVANGELIST

CONVENOR PASTOR MARK REDNER WEST CARLETON CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLY

BACKGROUND OF REVIVAL IN OTTAWA VALLEY:
In the year of 1610 Samuel Champlain came to Logos Land in the Ottawa
Valley. History tells that he represented the King of France but also Jesus
the King of the Universe bringing righteousness and peace to the First
Nations of the area -- the Algonquin and Huron nations receiving Jesus. He
dedicated that land unto the Lord. He also lost his astrolabe on Logos Land
property. This instrument was used to look at the stars in the heavens to
get guidance and direction for the voyageurs as they travelled through the lakes, rivers and forests of the region. It was found in 1867 the year
Canada was birthed as the Dominion of Canada. The monument for the astrolabe
is just behind the stage where the revival meetings take place this week.

One hundred years ago a pastor from Cobden area went to the Azusa Street
Revival and brought back that anointing to the Ottawa Valley. He was given
the left foot of fellowship from his church and as a result started the
first Pentecostal Church in Canada at Kinburn in a farmer's field. From here
revival broke out across the land.

Less than ten years ago God brought Pastor Mark Redner to this Kinburn
Church and put in him a heart to bring kingdom revival to the Ottawa Valley
by uniting the churches and raising up the Body of Christ. He started
revival meetings at West Carleton Christian Assembly on Friday nights. This
Spring WCCA started revival healing meetings either two or three nights per
week that have been going on since April. There have been many notable
healings and deliverances. Pastors of different churches are coming together
from as far north as Pembroke and south as Carleton Place to unite in this
revival. The Ottawa Valley stretches on both sides of the Ottawa River and
of course includes our Capital, the City of Ottawa.

In May Valley Outreach Ministries were invited by Logos Land to have a
breakfast meeting at their golf course. Bill Prankard gave a stirring
message about the work of the Holy Spirit. The LORD led Pastor Mark to
arrange an old fashion revival tent meeting in Logos Land for this summer as
presented above.

To prepare for these meetings leaders and intercessors convened at Logos
Land on Thursday 29th of July to redeem the land and make declarations over
the land for the revival meetings. There were 35 leaders and intercessors
from churches and para ministries led by First Nations Algonquin Pastor
Pauline Wilcox, the God appointed leader over the land, that came together.
As we were worshipping and interceding, one lady saw an angel of the Lord
standing in a gap with trees on both sides. The angel towered over the trees
and took up most of the space between the trees. The angel was huge!!!

Rabbi Michael Gerstein on 29th and 30 of July was exhorting us that this is
the time and this is the place for a great end time revival to start in the
Ottawa Valley. He taught about Samuel Champlain dedicating the region to the
glory of God as the Father of Canada. God loves the number 400 --- 1610
becomes 2010 in His plan. So this is His Kairos Time. Rabbi Gerstein shared
from Daniel 12:1 to 13. In verse one we see "At that time Michael shall
stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people".
So God has a sense of humour, Rabbi Michael is sharing about God's Warrior
Angle Michael what He is doing today over the Ottawa Valley. Was the Michael
the great angel what we saw Thursday morning? Probably!

SO COME TO LOGOS LAND WHERE THE LOGOS WORD SHALL BECOME A RHEMA WORD IN YOUR
HEART TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE, HEAL THE SICK AND SET YOU ON FIRE FOR THE
THINGS OF THE LORD. MEETINGS START AT 700 PM EACH NIGHT TUESDAY TO FRIDAY
UNDER THE TENT.

WE PROCLAIM THE GLORY OF GOD AND EXCELLENT WEATHER OVER THE AREA IN JESUS
NAME!!!

To be blessed means that you are empowered to prosper in all things by
faith.

brandoncorp has shared a video with you on YouTube:

This truly speak to me as I spin daily in my music ministry.
Pierre
I was tired, worn out, frustrated and at a crossroads in my music ministry. What was this all about? What do I really see when I look at Jesus? I had Godfrey's CD in and this song started to play at the exact right moment (isn't that just like God?). I had listened to the CD many times over, but I never actually heard this song until that moment. I got caught up in worshiping Jesus and realized with all the "politics" involved, my focus had shifted. I wasn't looking at the blood anymore and no matter how pure my intent was, if my focus wasn't on Jesus, then it wasn't where it belonged. I am so thankful that God gave us this song through Godfrey Birtill...all my questions answered in full. God is good and His ways are perfect :)

Here and Now

I love how God works in my life! just a few hours ago I was at my home church (on a Saturday) by myself, putting the finishing touch on a display on the stage next to where I lead every Sunday. Sitting and sipping my water and simply taking a good look at the stage flow. You see I am one of those people that believe, that a person when in church to worship, should be fully engaged , what I mean is that nothing should be in the way. I then as I try often took advantage of the quietness of the sanctuary, to play and sing a few lyrics from songs  scheduled for this Sunday. But for some reason something was different in the way I was playing the songs, they were speaking to me more than giving me this feeling  I normally get. On my way home I stopped at my business to pick up something for my wife and went home.
I want to share something I read on Paul Baloche's blog a while back.  Read on I will conclude at the end.
As worship leaders, we might find ourselves praying week after week in front of the congregation for God to take us to a place we've never been, when perhaps God is trying to speak to us right where we are. The latter creates an atmosphere of people worshiping in the moment. The former encourages a feeling of unfulfilled urgency rather than immediate connection.
Instead of fiery passion, let me suggest we emphasize a mature expression of love. It is love that is proclaimed to be above all other gifts, above all hope and faith (1 Corinthians 13:13). It is love that does not fail when the feeling fades or when the relationships get tough. Love does not expect a pleasant emotion to accompany it at all times. Love does not expect that we will be excited and in awe of it at every turn. Love does not ask to be pointed out and flaunted in every area of our lives.
Rather, love is our foundation. Regardless of how passionate we feel about serving God or other people, our mature, quietly persisting love will withstand the many trials we face.
There is a place for passion and there is a place for quiet adoration in our worship of God.
God did speak to me, right where I was this afternoon. What was different is  I was loving every moment I sang these song to Him vs. how good  the songs made me feel.

From Old to New...It's like tuning your guitar!

From Old to New
Well, do I simply go on like, "What's the big deal about ending a old year a starting a new one?"
I can be playing a song on my guitar and I know something is not right so I take a moment and  check the tuning of the  strings, after all that is important to the whole harmony of the song.
Well  in the same way  in my life, there is those days [specially around this time] were I feel something is not right. The hard part is to find the time a moment [after all is not our life busy?] to find out what is not right with the Old and do the appropriate adjustments to the New. I call this my "Check up from the neck up."

May all of you this New year receive God's guidance in those days were you feel something is not right.
Passionately His,

Pierre
